Improved his league best era to 1.51 for the year after a brilliant 8 inning effort against Cincinnati Sunday night. This start will move him into the top 10 of ESPN's player rater rankings for starters. Jurrjens has reinvented himself after injury troubles and has become more of a cerebral guy and not just a hard thrower. He should remain a solid #2 SP and a very solid #3 for owners moving forward.
