Might not be coming up soon for the Jays after all, as he was forced to leave the game in AAA-Las Vegas Tuesday night after being hit in the hand. Bad timing for the Jays and power starved owners at the 2B position alike. Stay tuned until more details come out.
Update: Lawrie suffered a bruised hand and avoided a serious amount of missed time. He might not be up with the Jays as expected on Friday but should be shortly thereafter.
