Tommy Hanson

Picked up his 6th win of the season tonight against the Padres. He allowed 2 earned runs and struck out 4 in lowering his era to 2.82. You won't find many starters walking around with the type of talent Hanson possesses and his peripherals suggest frontline numbers for years to come. His only issue so far this season has been efficiency, as his pitch counts haven't allowed him to go really deep into many games. Atlanta is getting away with it with guys like Venters and Kimbrel at the back end of their bullpen but in order for Hanson to take the final step into the elite class of starters he'll need to become more efficient.
