Matt Holliday

Will be placed on the 15-day DL by the Cardinals on Thursday. His quad continues to give him trouble and the team feels it would be best to just shut him down for a couple of weeks. It's a tough blow for Holliday owners but there are currently more than a couple guys on the waiver wire that can somewhat fill his shoes in the power department for the time being.
